The Revive Package
Update your home. Skip the showroom.
Contractor-ready plans in 3-4 weeks
You want to update your dated kitchen or finish your basement, but you don't want a 6-month "design journey" or a luxury price tag. You don't need wine and cheese meetings; you need a plan that works, materials you can actually buy, and a contractor-ready drawing.
The Revive Package is a streamlined architectural service for homeowners who want to modernize their space using accessible, "Retail-Ready" materials. We provide the professional roadmap; you handle the purchasing.
This is perfect for you if:
You want speed: You want to be construction-ready quickly, not next year.
You are pragmatic: You are happy with high-quality retail or semi-custom cabinetry; you don't need a carpenter to hand-carve every molding.
You are hands-on: You have an idea of what you like (Pinterest/Photos) but need a pro to pull it together and ensure it fits.
You are value-driven: You want to increase your home's value for resale or enjoyment without "over-improving" for the neighborhood.
What’s Included in the Fresh Start Revive Package
One Flat Fee per Room. No hourly billing surprises.
1. The Architectural Floor Plan We design a layout that maximizes your existing footprint. We stick to Universal Standard Sizes (NKBA standards), meaning our plans are compatible with major retailers (like Home Depot/Lowe's) and our preferred semi-custom partners (like Century Cabinetry). No waiting 16 weeks for custom fabrication.
2. Photorealistic 3D Renderings It’s hard to imagine a new space from a 2D drawing. We provide two (2) high-quality 3D views of your room so you can see exactly how the new cabinet color, flooring, and lighting will look together before you spend a dime.
3. The "Click-to-Buy" Shopping List We don't just say "buy a gray vanity." We give you direct links to specific products. Based on your style, we select paint colors, flooring, tile, and fixtures that are in-stock and ready to ship.
Nationwide: Links to major retailers (Wayfair, Build.com, Big Box).
Mid-Atlantic Locals: Option for direct handoff to our factory-direct cabinet partner.
4. The Contractor Guide You get a set of clear, 2D construction documents including dimensioned floor plans, basic electrical notes (outlet/switch locations), and installation notes so your contractor knows exactly what to do.

Cabinet Sourcing:
Universal Design: Compatible with major retailers (Home Depot, Lowe’s, etc.).
Local Bonus: Mid-Atlantic clients can access our direct partnership with Century Cabinetry for semi-custom laundry storage.
SCOPE NOTES & EXCLUSIONS:
Appliance Specs: Designs are based on standard modern machine dimensions. If you plan to use an existing washer/dryer, you must provide the exact model numbers and dimensions prior to design.
Dryer Venting: We design the machine location based on the existing vent output on the wall. We do not provide HVAC ductwork routing plans for moving a dryer vent across the house.
Gas vs. Electric: Client is responsible for confirming if their existing hookups are Gas or Electric. We will design cabinetry around the machines, but we do not produce electrical/gas diagrams.

Get a high-end bathroom look using accessible, off-the-shelf materials.
This package streamlines the renovation process for a Hall Bath or Primary Bath remodel. We focus on optimizing the layout within the existing walls and selecting a cohesive material palette (tile, vanity, fixtures) that you can order online.
BEST FOR:
Gut renovations of existing bathrooms.
Replacing a tub with a walk-in shower (or vice versa).
Updating all finishes: Tile, Vanity, Lighting, Plumbing.
WHAT IS INCLUDED:

The Click-to-Buy Shopping List: Direct links to vanities, tub/shower fixtures, mirrors, and lighting.
SCOPE NOTES & EXCLUSIONS:
Toilet Location: Design assumes the toilet flange and main soil stack remain in their existing location. Moving a toilet across the room often requires major floor joist modifications which are outside the scope of this package.
Shower Waterproofing: We specify Tile-Ready Prefabricated Shower Systems (e.g., Schluter-Kerdi, Wedi, or Onyx) to ensure watertight safety. We do not provide construction details for custom poured mud-bed shower pans.
Steam Showers: We do not design steam showers (requires specific vapor proofing, sloped ceilings, and specialized glass) as part of this retail-ready package.
Windows in Showers: If your layout requires a window inside the shower zone, the client is responsible for verifying that the window is tempered glass and properly flashed for wet areas.

Transform your unfinished storage space into a functional living area.
We provide a clear architectural layout to finish your basement, focusing on flow, lighting, and furniture placement. This package is ideal for creating family rooms, home offices, or play areas using standard residential construction methods.
BEST FOR:
Finishing a raw basement (up to 1,000 sq. ft.).
Defining zones: Media area, Playroom, Gym, or Home Office.
Adding a "Dry Bar" (Beverage storage) or a Bathroom (must have existing rough-in).

2D Floor Plan: Fully dimensioned layout for framing walls and furniture placement.
3D Renderings: Two (2) photorealistic views to visualize the space.
The Click-to-Buy Shopping List: Flooring, lighting, doors, and bathroom/bar fixtures.
SCOPE NOTES & EXCLUSIONS:
Bedrooms & Egress: We do not design "Bedrooms" or sleeping areas unless an egress-compliant window/door already exists in that specific zone. Client is solely responsible for verifying with local municipalities that their existing windows meet current Egress Codes (size and height) before requesting a bedroom layout. We do not provide engineering for cutting new egress openings into the foundation.
Plumbing Limitations:
Bathrooms: We design bathrooms only if rough-in plumbing (drain pipes) already exists in the slab. We do not provide plans for cutting concrete or installing sewage ejector pumps.
Bars/Kitchenettes: We design "Dry Bars" (Beverage Fridge/Storage) or "Water-Supply Only" areas (Ice Makers). We do not include sinks or dishwashers unless a drain rough-in exists.
Moisture & Waterproofing: This package is for design only. It does not include diagnosing or solving existing basement water issues/leaks. All moisture mitigation must be completed by a specialist before construction begins.
Ceiling Height: We do not design around HVAC ductwork drops lower than 6'8". Please verify your local code requirements.
Square Footage: Base price covers up to 1,000 sq. ft. Basements larger than this will incur a per-square-foot overage fee.

This package is perfect if you are a "pragmatic" homeowner. You want a professional look and a functional layout, but you don't want to wait months for custom furniture or spend your budget on luxury, trade-only materials. If you are happy shopping at Lowe's, Home Depot, or Wayfair, but just need a pro to tell you what to buy and where to put it, this is for you.
-
Not at all! Since we specify accessible materials from national retailers (like Home Depot, Lowe's, and major online stores), we can design for clients anywhere in the United States. Whether you are down the street or across the country, we provide the same high-quality plans and shopping lists that you can execute locally.
-
To keep our turnaround times fast and our fixed fees low, the Revive Package is designed as a 100% virtual service. We have a streamlined process where you send us photos and measurements (we provide a simple guide!), and we handle everything via email and video calls.
Need an in-person expert? If you are local to our studio (within a 30-minute drive) and prefer an on-site consultation to kick things off, we offer site visits at an hourly rate of $175/hour (billed portal-to-portal, including drive time).
-
The Revive Packages are strictly for "footprint" renovations—meaning we replace items where they currently sit (or within the same room structure).
If you want to move walls, add an addition, or change your structural layout: Please select our "Architectural Design Consultation" instead. We handle those complex projects as custom work, not fixed-fee packages.
-
For most items (lighting, tile, vanities), we provide a "Click-to-Buy" Shopping List. You purchase the items directly from retailers (like Home Depot, Wayfair, or Build.com) at your own pace.
For Cabinets (Nationwide): We design using universal sizes. You take our plan to any cabinet retailer, and they will fulfill the order.
For Cabinets (PA/NJ/MD/DE Only): If you are local to the Mid-Atlantic, we can hand off your design directly to our manufacturing partner, Century Cabinetry, for a seamless factory-direct order.
-
Yes! We speak "Contractor." Your delivery includes a scaled floor plan with dimensions and notes that any professional builder can read. We specifically specify Retail-Ready materials (standard sizes, prefab shower pans, in-stock vanities) so your contractor isn't stuck waiting 4 months for custom materials to arrive.
-
In the Revive Package, we design layouts using standard cabinetry sizes and retail storage units (like pre-made locker systems). If you need detailed construction drawings for custom carpentry or built-in millwork, please ask about our Custom Design services.
-
Many cosmetic updates (like swapping cabinets or flooring) do not require a permit, but rules vary by location. While our plans are drawn to professional architectural standards, this package does not include permit submission or coordination. Our drawings are for "Design Intent" and layout purposes; if a permit is required, you or your contractor can use our drawings to file for it.
-
We include one round of revisions in the flat fee. After we present the initial plan and material selections, you can give us feedback (e.g., "I'd prefer a lighter floor" or "Let's try a different vanity style"), and we will adjust the plan before sending the final package.
-
No. The Revive Package is specifically for projects where old cabinets are being removed and replaced with new cabinetry. We do not offer design services for cabinet refacing or painting.
Why? Our expertise is in architectural layout—ensuring that standard cabinet sizes fit perfectly into your space to maximize function. If you plan to keep your existing cabinet boxes and layout, you generally do not need a designer's floor plan; you simply need to hire a professional painter or cabinet refacing company directly.
-
It’s simple. If you book a $45 Virtual Consultation and decide to move forward with one of our Revive Packages, we will email you a unique promo code. When you purchase your package on our website, enter that code at checkout, and the full $45 fee will be deducted from your total. It’s our way of ensuring your initial chat is risk-free.
-
No, the Revive Package is a 100% virtual service. We rely on you to provide photos and rough measurements of your space. Don't worry—once you purchase, we send you a simple "How to Measure" guide. Since we aren't moving walls, we don't need millimeter-perfect architectural surveys; we just need accurate wall-to-wall dimensions to ensure your new cabinets fit.
-
Our standard turnaround is 15-20 business days (approx. 3-4 weeks) from the moment we receive your completed measurements.
Week 1: We create your initial layout and 3D concepts.
Week 2: You review the design and request edits (one round of revisions is included!).
Week 3-4: We finalize the technical drawings and build your shopping list.
Note: Timeline depends on how quickly you provide feedback.
-
Yes! We are a great resource for contractors who want to keep projects moving efficiently. It allows you to focus on the build while we handle the planning details.
