We treat your home like a forensic site, capturing the high-resolution data required for a construction-ready master blueprint.

The Fresh Start Standard Includes:

  • A 280+ Point Forensic Audit: Using our proprietary 10-page technical checklist, we document everything from structural joist spacing and hidden electrical obstructions to minute cabinetry partitions and appliance door clearances.

  • Mechanical & Infrastructure Mapping: We identify "inch-stealers"—like surface-mounted junction boxes or plumbing penetrations behind laundry units—before the design begins, eliminating costly mid-project change orders.

  • Forensic Photo & Video Library: We capture a full set of designer-perspective site photos and a 360° slow-motion walkthrough, providing a total digital record of your home’s utility hubs and structural quirks.

Most "surprises" in a renovation happen because a standard measurement missed a 1/2" deviation in a wall or a pipe chase hidden in a cabinet. Our 280+ Point DNA Audit is designed to find those issues while they are still just lines on a screen—not after you've already paid for cabinets.

The "Prepare for Your Survey" Checklist: To ensure 100% measurement accuracy and a safe environment, we require the following from the homeowner:

  • Total Access: All areas to be measured (including inside sink cabinets and behind movable appliances) must be clear of debris, stacked items, and clutter.

  • Clear the Workspace: Fresh Start designers are there to document, not relocate. We will not move furniture, equipment, or personal items to access walls or corners.

  • Safety First: Ensure pets are secured and the property is fully accessible at the scheduled time.

  • Accuracy Lock: Our audit captures a "snapshot in time." Any structural changes made to the space after the survey (demo, wall removal, etc.) will render the data void and require a new site visit at the client's expense.

  • Rescheduling Fee: Sites that are inaccessible, unsafe, or cluttered upon arrival prevent us from hitting our accuracy standards and are subject to a $150 rescheduling fee.
