Most architects design for "The Portfolio." We design for "The Build." Because our background is in hands-on construction, we approach every project with a focus on constructability and budget adherence from Day One. We don't just draw pretty pictures; we create technical roadmaps that contractors respect and can actually build.
-
We focus on three core areas:
Custom New Homes: Ground-up design for estates and single-family residences.
Major Renovations: Large-scale additions, historic expansions, and whole-home remodels.
The Revive Package: A streamlined design service for focused interior projects like finished basements, kitchens, and primary suites.
-
No, but if you have one, we love to collaborate early. If you don't, we can help you vet and select the right builder during the design process. Our plans are detailed enough to get accurate competitive bids from multiple contractors, giving you financial leverage.
-
We are based in Phoenixville, PA, serving the Main Line and Philadelphia suburbs (Chester, Montgomery, Bucks, and Lancaster counties). We also actively design custom homes and renovations in North Carolina and South Carolina.
-
We follow a structured three-step path:
Feasibility & Concept: We analyze zoning, site constraints, and your budget to ensure the project is viable before drawing detailed plans.
Design & Documentation: We move to 3D modeling and technical drafting, creating the "Permit Set" your township and builder require.
Construction Support: (Optional) We remain involved during the build to answer contractor questions and advocate for your vision on-site.
-
Every project is unique, but typical timelines are:
Feasibility & Concept: 2–4 weeks.
Permit-Ready Plans: 6–12 weeks (depending on project size and engineering needs).
Construction: Variable based on your builder. We provide a specific timeline projection during our initial consultation.
-
Yes. We believe you should "walk through" your home before you pay to build it. We utilize advanced 3D modeling software to show you floor plans, elevations, and massing, ensuring there are no surprises when construction begins.
-
Absolutely. While our plans cover architectural interiors (layout, cabinetry, lighting placement), we often collaborate with independent Interior Designers for furniture, window treatments, and soft goods. We can recommend trusted partners if you don't have one.
-
We design with standard lumber lengths, efficient load paths, and smart material choices in mind. By identifying complex structural issues on paper—rather than in the field—we reduce the expensive "Change Orders" that blow up most renovation budgets. We value engineer your home while we draw it.
-
No. We believe in transparent, fixed-fee proposals. You will know exactly what the design investment is upfront, regardless of whether you choose luxury finishes or budget-friendly options. This keeps our incentives aligned with yours.
-
This applies specifically to our Revive Packages. We charge a nominal $45 fee for the initial Virtual Consultation to ensure we are dedicating time to serious inquiries.
However, this fee is fully refundable against your project. If you decide to move forward with a design package, we will provide a promo code to deduct the full $45 from your final invoice. It is our way of ensuring your initial chat is risk-free.
-
Yes. Whether it’s a custom home or a complex addition, our final deliverable is a comprehensive set of Construction Documents. These are the technical drawings your township needs for zoning/building approval and your builder needs for accurate framing.
-
The first step depends on the type of project you are planning:
For "Revive" Projects (Kitchens, Basements, Baths): If you are ready to update a specific room and want to get moving quickly, please Book a Virtual Consultation ($45). This 20-minute video call will confirm your scope and get you into our schedule immediately.
For Custom Homes & Major Renovations: For large-scale architectural projects, we need to understand your vision and site details first. Please fill out our Contact Form. We review every inquiry personally and will respond within 24 hours to schedule a complimentary Feasibility Call if your project aligns with our expertise.
